Hal Gore is a veteran of over 50 years in the broadcast industry. After starting as a control engineer in Watertown, New York in 1953, his broadcast career progressed from sales to sales-manager, general manager to executive vice-president of Sudbrink FM broadcast group. Since 1978 Hal has also been an owner-operator of his own broadcast group. Gore-Overgaard Broadcasting has owned and operated stations in Daytona, Fresno, Cleveland, Philadelphia Baltimore, Cincinnati , Tampa and Las Vegas.
Hal Gore built Channel 14 in Atlanta for Woody Sudbrink, and served as General Manager of the station for 5 years until Force Communications sold the station to Paxson in 1995. |
